Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital External Cladding

This Project could be safely completed as Drones can operate safely within our CAA operations manual at 15-20 mph, with a risk assessment prior to each flight. We can easily inspect up and above the 14 floor height. Our CAA Approval in the UK allows 400′ elevation with 500m visual line of sight, and the University Hospital (shape) build allows greater wind shelter than most, from direct wind which would enable maximum up-time for Inspections. The building design by “Nightingale Associates” with construction carried out by prime contractor “Brookfield Multiplex” and their numerous sub-contractors. As yet unknown who they will select for this new scope of work or class it as rework, but using companies such as Eye in the Sky (Glasgow) Ltd could have vast cost savings and would result in less disruption for staff, patients visitors and other ongoing works.
